Private Surf Lessons are designed and based on the level of the individual student. CoreysWave provides expert instruction in everything from beginner basics including safety, paddling technique, proper surfer stance, and surfing etiquette, to advanced techniques such as positioning for waves, identifying different wave shapes, and strategies for surfing in the crowd. Our Professional Surf Instructors are adept at reading each student's skill level in the water, and setting the tone based on the student’s personal comfort and abilities. From extreme beginners to more advanced training and coaching, each lesson brings new confidence for the student and increasing proficiency in surfing, while staying focused on goals and keeping the stoke at a maximum.

Our Kids' Surf Discovery (KSD) program is a two hour long semi-private group lesson designed for beginner education in surfing and exposure to the ocean and waves in our backyard! Parents and kids can expect in-depth beginner surf instruction geared towards instilling lasting knowledge of surfing and ocean safety. In addition to refining basic skills, kids will learn different surfing techniques, learn about ocean safety, wave management, surf etiquette and environmental awareness, and may try different surfing styles (i.e., stand-up paddling, boogie boarding). The Kids' Surf Discovery lessons and activities may also include body surfing, beach games, and stand-up paddling.
